Welcome to LouwPhotography.com!
We are a husband and wife team located in the New York metropolitan area. Travel and photography have always been important to us, and we are happy to be able to share these pictures with you. Below are the answers to a few questions we have been asked over the years:
What camera equipment do you use?
We currently use the Canon 30D, Canon Digital Rebel XTi, and Fujifilm Finepix F31fd. We also use Ikelite and Fujifilm underwater housings.
Do you have any photography training?
We have no formal photography training, but have read a few photography books. Authors we like include Bryan Peterson and John Shaw.
Where is your favorite place so far?
French Polynesia, but Antarctica was certainly an awe-inspiring destination.
Please feel free to contact us with any comments or questions.

Manihi Scuba Diving, French Polynesia. These Manihi photos were taken during our French Polynesia trip in 2008. Manihi is an atoll in the Tuamotu archipelago. It's less often visited than some of it's sister islands like Bora Bora or Tahiti, but it is a premiere diving island where manta rays are a regular attraction. The hotel in Manihi is on a different island from the main village so there aren't many things outside of the hotel.
