Kichisen, Kyoto, Japan. These photos were taken during our Japan trip in 2010. Kichisen is run by Chef Yoshimi Tanigawa and serves traditional Kyoto-style "kaiseki" cuisine. Chef Tanigawa gained international fame for appearing on Iron Chef and beating Chef Masaharu Morimoto in Battle Conger Eel (Hamo).
